A Scorpio with a dream
Star Scorpion was named after my two favorite tattoos. My Dad told me that you should never get tattoos of something you may hate one day, and I thought the same should apply to my brand name. I have been a jewelry maker for 4 years now, but opened a true to form online shop in April of 2026. Each of these designs is handmade by me. I am the designer, polisher, stone setter, marketing team, photographer, and sometimes I cast my own pieces as well. Safe to say this isn't a large operation, but my hope is that I will reach the people that love my designs and eventually be able to provide well paying jobs to other people. I was raised with parents who own a small business and I believe in supporting small. So peruse my website, send me a dm or email if you have questions. I'm Tay
If you want to know here is some more about me :) I started metalsmithing in 2022 upon taking a beginner course in college. I was a painting major and I had no clue what I wanted out of my life, but the moment I started metalsmithing I loved the way it challenged me the way no other art form had. I feel like I'll be learning new things from it eternally and I will love every second of it. I'm based in Austin, TX and I obviously love flowers, lace, and shells but not in a boho way. When Im not making jewelry I still paint, or I'm reading a good book, swimming at Barton springs, or going on little adventures with friends. I have featured here a photo of myself and the photo of the first necklace I ever made in cast lace in 2023. Thank you for reading and coming on this journey with me.
